On May 9th, 2009, Adventures for the Cure hosted a "Black & White Night" fundraising event to raise money for two charitable children's causes: both the Extreme Weekend local diabetes camp for kids and Kupenda for the Children. The evening focused on black and white silent film shorts set to modern music, a bull roast, wine tasting, silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. Over 130 guests came out donned in black and white colors to support the event at the beautiful Basignani Winery, located in northern Baltimore County.

The event culminated in AFC raising about $6,700, which will be evenly distributed between the two causes! The night was a wonderful success and just one more opportunity to enjoy the company of AFC supporters. Thank you to everyone who invested in making a meaningful difference!
