AFC RAAM 2009 Bike Auction
Auction Details
AFC is auctioning off the bikes that we are using for this year's Race Across America. Adam and Pat both have a Time Trial and a Raod Bike that they are putting up for auction.
All the money that AFC makes on these auctions is going to our fundraising goal of raising $50k to be divided between our causes: Extreme Weekend for Children With Diabetes and Kupenda For The Children.
Bidding will end on Saturday June 27th at 8:00pm EST.
How To Bid
  • The bidding will start at $1,750.00 per bike.
  • All bids must be addressed to media.adventuresforthecure@gmail.com. Each bid must include the:
    1. First and Last Name of the bidder
    2. Bidding item(s) which includes one or more of:
      a) Adam's Road Bike
      b) Adam's TT Bike
      c) Pat's Road Bike
      d) Pat's TT bike
    3. The bid price(s)
    4. The highest daily proxy bid* (optional)

      5. *The proxy bid is a bid that is placed on behalf of the bidder by the auctioneer and represents the maximum bid the bidder is willing to go to for that day. The auctioneer will only place a proxy bid in $25 increments until such a bid exceeds the current highest bid. If more than one proxy bid exists above the publicly displayed bid, then the highest proxy bid will be displayed for that day. On the final day, bidders are asked to submit only one proxy bid which represents the highest bid he/she wishes to place.

      Any questions presented to the auctioneer which may have an effect on the pricing will be addressed publicly on this website without reference to who asked the question.
